Abstract
The novel "Tenku No Hachi" by Japanese writer Keigo Higashino tells the story of terrorists remotely controlling a super military helicopter to hover over the reactor of a nuclear power plant in Japan, threatening to crash the helicopter and forcing the Japanese government to shut down all nuclear power plants in the country. Facing the threat, the Japanese government was in dilemma: if the government refuses the terrorists' request, the helicopter crash will cause the explosion of nuclear power plant, then the safety myth of nuclear power propaganda from the Japanese government will be shattered; and if the government shuts down all nuclear power plants in the country but the country's electricity is still sufficient, then the importance of nuclear power will also be shattered. This novel tries from three dimensions of technology, humanity, and choice, to carry out in-depth reflections on issues such as Japan's nuclear safety, the government's nuclear power policy, and the attitude towards nuclear power from the publics. It points out the contradiction between Japan's nuclear power safety theory and the importance of nuclear power theory, and criticizes the deep impact of nuclear power on human body and spirit, and reveals the writer's anxiety about life ethics and environmental ethics under the nuclear crisis, which has an important warning effect.
