文化自信视角下的英语、港台话与汉语

摘要

十九大报告所强调的：“文化是一个国家、一个民族的灵魂。文化兴国运兴，文化强国运强。没有高度的文化自信，没有文化的繁荣兴盛，就没有中华民族的伟大复兴。”在后殖民主义语境中，与普通话相比，英语处于强势地位。普通话可以构建文化自信，理应受到更多的重视和研究。语言应主要是描写性的，不能排斥语言的变化，也不能消灭方言。方言中的许多话都是极具表现力的，是值得普通话吸收和借鉴的。当务之急是推广普通话，而不是扩大方言的影响。应用语言也不能过于随意，应避免造成语言的混乱。因此，应构建文化自信。

Abstract

Report to the 19th CPC National Congress points out: “Culture is the soul of a country and a nation. Cultural prosperity leads to prosperity, and cultural strength leads to prosperity. Without a high level of cultural confidence and prosperity, there can be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.” Compared with mandarin, English holds a powerful position in post-colonial context. Due to the pivotal role mandarin plays in China, it deserves more emphasis and study. The nature of language should be descriptive. On one hand, it should not reject the change of language. On the other hand, it should not wipe out the dialect. With high expressive force, dialect is supposed to be assimilated and learned by mandarin. Popularizing mandarin should be the highest priority instead of enlarging the influence of dialect. Applying language should not be too casual. It is supposed to try to avoid the disorder of language. Thus, cultural confidence should be cultivated.
