互联网语境下语言“通货膨胀”现象对翻译的影响

摘要

随着互联网的发展，语言作为人类交流的工具，正经历着巨大变革。语言“通货膨胀”现象也愈加显著，不仅在中文中频繁出现，英文也不例外。翻译作为跨语言信息传递的重要工具，也受到语言“通货膨胀”现象的显著影响。本文旨在深入探讨互联网语境下中英文语言“通货膨胀”现象的特点、成因及其对翻译的影响；分析了互联网语境下中英文语言“通货膨胀”的多种表现形式；阐述了语言“通货膨胀”现象对翻译产生的影响，并提出了相应的应对策略，以期促进跨语言信息传递的效率和质量，应对语言“通货膨胀”带来的挑战。

Abstract

With the rapid advancement of internet technology, language as a fundamental tool of human communication is undergoing unprecedented transformations. Notably, the phenomenon of "linguistic inflation" has become increasingly prominent, manifesting not only in Chinese but also in English. As a critical instrument for cross-linguistic information transfer, translation has been significantly affected by this linguistic inflation phenomenon. This study aims to conduct an in-depth investigation into the characteristics, causes, and translational implications of linguistic inflation in both Chinese and English within digital communication contexts. Specifically, it analyzes multiple manifestations of linguistic inflation in Chinese and English. The paper systematically elaborates how linguistic inflation impacts translation, while proposing corresponding countermeasures, and ultimately enhance the efficiency and quality of cross-linguistic communication in addressing challenges posed by linguistic inflation.
