A study on English translation of China Tea’s publicity materials from the perspective of communicative translation
交际翻译视角下中茶公司外宣资料英译研究

摘要
随着经济全球化进程的加快,中国与世界各国之间的商品和服务交流日益密切,越来越多的中国茶企参与到激烈的国际竞争中。外宣资料对推销公司产品、扩大服务范围、提高公司竞争力起到重要作用。优秀的外宣翻译可以提升公司形象,帮助公司顺利进入国际市场。本文从交际翻译视角出发,选取中茶公司官网的外宣资料为研究对象,从公司介绍、茶叶品牌、语言特点等各个方面对外宣资料进行分析,研究外宣资料英译所采取的翻译方法,探讨交际翻译在外宣翻译中的应用,从而促进茶文化进一步传播与弘扬。

Abstract
With the acceleration of economic globalization, the exchange of goods and services between China and other countries has become increasingly frequent, and more and more Chinese tea enterprises have engaged in fierce international competition. International publicity materials play an important role in promoting company products, expanding service scope and enhancing the company’s competitiveness. High-quality translation of publicity materials can improve the company’s image and help it successfully enter the global market. From the perspective of communicative translation, this paper takes publicity materials from China Tea’s official website as a case study, which analyzes publicity materials in terms of company introduction, tea brands and linguistic features, studies the methods used in translating publicity materials and discusses the application of communicative translation in publicity translation so as to further spread tea culture.
