A study on translator subjectivity from the perspective of George Steiner’s translation theory—A visual analysis based on CNKI and VOSviewer
乔治·斯坦纳翻译理论视角下译者主体性研究——基于知网与VOSviewer的可视化分析

乔治·斯坦纳作为西方翻译理论界的重要人物，其阐释学翻译理论自上世纪70年代提出以来，一直备受关注。通过对近20年国内外学者在斯坦纳阐释学翻译理论方面发表的论文进行可视化分析，本文发现该理论在翻译研究中的应用范围并不广泛，主要涉及外国语言文学、中国语言文学、文学翻译等少数领域。本文通过分析译者在翻译过程中的角色、行为和影响因素，揭示了翻译活动的复杂性和译者在其中的关键作用。最后，通过对相关文献的阅读分析，以期加深国内翻译学者们对斯坦纳阐释学的学习及认识，给予该理论更多关注和研究，并期待有更多学者能够将其应用于更广泛的领域。

Abstract

George Steiner’s hermeneutic translation theory has attracted scholars’ attention since its publication in the 1970s. Based on the visual data analysis of the writings by scholars at home and abroad in this field during the past 20 years, this paper finds that the application of this theory in translation studies is not very extensive, which mainly involves a few fields. It also reveals the complexity of translation activities and the key role of the translator in the translation process by analyzing the role, behavior, and influencing factors of the translator in the translation process. Finally, through the reading and analysis of relevant literature, it is advised that scholars deepen their understanding of Steiner’s hermeneutics, and pay more attention to this theory in their research.
