摘要

当代,人工智能翻译已成为翻译行业的“必选项”,支撑中华文化走向全球。通过借助AI翻译工具,翻译成本虽大幅降低,但译文质量却难以得到保障,故AI译后编辑(Post-Editing)愈发重要。本研究以旅游文本为例,选取当下生成式AI(GenAI)代表ChatGPT与传统型AI代表Google Translate作为实验工具,通过设计提示词框架获取AI初译稿,从语言表达、文化传递和功能实现三维度分析AI译文存在的翻译质量问题。在此基础上,对AI译文进行人工译后编辑优化,总结出句式重组、文化补偿和读者立场重构等核心译后编辑策略,为旅游文本的翻译实践提供了操作性参考。研究发现,在当前人机协同翻译模式的发展趋势下,AIPE在重塑语言品质、文化内涵传递和文本功能实现三个层面均具有不可替代的核心价值。

Abstract

Nowadays, AI translation has become an indispensable tool in translation industry, supporting the global dissemination of Chinese culture. Although AI tools have significantly decreased translation costs, their output quality remains difficult to be guaranteed, making AI post-editing increasingly important. First of all, taking a tourism text as the case study, this research selects ChatGPT—a representative generative AI (GenAI) tool—and Google Translate—a traditional AI tool—as experimental instruments. Secondly, a structured prompt framework was designed to obtain original AI translations, which were then analyzed for translation quality from three dimensions: linguistic expression, cultural transmission, and functional realization. Based on this, AIPE optimization was conducted on the original AI translations. Hence, the main post-editing strategies such as syntactic restructuring, cultural compensation, and reader-position reconstruction were concluded, providing operational references for the translation practice of tourism texts. Lastly, the findings indicate that, within the growing trend of human-machine collaborative translation, AIPE owns its irreplaceable value in three aspects: refining language quality, conveying cultural connotations, and fulfilling textual functions.
